One World Arts Exchange is committed to building intercultural understanding through the medium of performing arts. Our primary focus is sharing the music and dance of West African cultures.
Our Artistic Director, Abdoulaye Sylla, has been certified as a master teaching artist by the Connecticut Commission on the Arts.
He is a former member of Les Ballets Africains, Guinea's national dance company.

Abdoulaye is also Artistic Director of Fotoba, One World Arts Exchange's resident company. This racially mixed company of African and American artists brings a message of unity, creates a spirit of joy, and demonstrates the accessibility of African culture.
